Introduction
Do you often suffer from back and neck pain after sitting at your desk for several hours every day? Don't worry, a small habit can help. Today, I'm sharing a simple and gentle technique - combining hydration with movement to let your body relax even in the busyness. This method comes from traditional Chinese health concepts: following the natural rhythm of the seasons, regularly giving your body a little "oil", nourishing your essence and energy, and making both mind and body comfortable.

Technique Details
Applicable Scenarios
Any office environment that requires long periods of sitting, such as in front of a computer or in a meeting room. You just need a glass of water and a space where you can stand up.
Operation Method
Set an alarm for 45 minutes (or use a phone reminder). When the alarm goes off, stand up immediately and go get a glass of warm water. Don't rush to drink it; first do 2 minutes of micro-exercises:
- Slowly lift your shoulders up to your ears, hold for 3 seconds, then relax. Repeat 5 times.
- Gently turn your head, bringing your chin towards your chest, then turn left and right 3 times each.
- Raise your arms, stretch upwards as if yawning, while lifting your toes, hold for 5 seconds, then slowly lower them. Repeat 3 times.
- Finally, drink the glass of warm water, sipping slowly.
Daily Execution Steps
Repeat this process at least 3-4 times a day. If you drink a lot of water, you can use a smaller cup, but don't skip standing up and stretching. Try to schedule two sessions each in the morning and afternoon, following the rhythm of "regular daily routines."
Physical and Mental Improvement Effects
After a few times, you'll find your shoulders and back are no longer so stiff, and your neck becomes more flexible. Warm water helps your body detoxify, and micro-exercises promote blood circulation, making you feel more energetic. This balanced habit is like "strengthening the foundation and nurturing the body," and with consistent practice, the discomfort from prolonged sitting will gradually disappear.
Summary
A glass of water plus two minutes of micro-exercise is effortless and doesn't take much time, yet brings real relaxation. Remember, multiple short breaks throughout the day are more important than one long break. Let this simple technique become part of your work routine and treat yourself gently.
